Our team engaged in Empathy Interviews in NYC and the Dominican Republic.

See below for the evolution of our design and continual inclusion of student voice.

First, we came together as a team with students to asked the following questions.

Student Empathy Interviews in the Dominican Republic

TEAM MEMBER: Roberto Cabrera

As I sit and wonder about the needs of our precious future students, ideas begin to surface in my head as to how we can best obtain this data. While taking a trip to the Dominican Republic, I had a special opportunity to capture information to better support our ENL students through interviews at a loca middle school. Look how excited this 6th grader became when I told her that Collaboration High School was willing to change the playing field in which learning is done.

At Collaboration High School, we are always willing to form collaborative partnerships students, parents, faculty and diverse communities to facilitate the goal of providing a quality education for all students. The communities in which we serve will become the backbone of what CO-LAB is all about. We strive to work alongside stakeholders from all walks of life.
